Kai-Da Xu

Kai-Da Xu (IEEE Senior Member) is a Full Professor at Xi’an Jiaotong University, China. He received his B.E. and first Ph.D. from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2009 and 2015, and his second Ph.D. from Tohoku University, Japan in 2024.He has held academic appointments at Duke University, Xiamen University, City University of Hong Kong, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Tohoku University, Yokohama National University and University of Alcalá (Marie Curie Fellow). He has published over 130 papers in IEEE journals. He was named one of Elsevier’s Most Cited Chinese Researchers (2023–2026) and included in Stanford/Elsevier’s World’s Top 2% Scientists list for both career-long and single-year impact. His research focuses on millimeter-wave/THz devices and antennas.

Arup Neogi

Arup Neogi (Optica Fellow) is a Professor at the Institute of Fundamental and Frontier Sciences, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC). He also holds a professor position at the University of North Texas, USA. His research interests cover nanophotonics, biophotonics, nonlinear optics, ultrafast optoelectronics, phonon metamaterials and biological imaging.He has over 35 years of research experience in optics and photonics. He has published more than 210 peer-reviewed journal articles, one book, five book chapters and ten patents, and delivered numerous invited talks at top international conferences. He received the Sichuan Provincial International Science and Technology Cooperation Award and was selected into the Tianfu Emei Talent Program. He was elected as an Optica Fellow in recognition of his distinguished contributions to photonics research.

Bikash Nakarmi

Prof. Bikash Nakarmi is a Professor at the College of Electronics and Information Engineering, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. He is a core member of the Key Laboratory of RADAR Imaging and Microwave Photonics, Senior Member of IEEE and OSA. He received his Ph.D. from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and completed postdoctoral research at KAIST. His research focuses on microwave photonics, silicon photonics, integrated photonic circuits, optical communications and plasmonic biosensors. He has led multiple national research projects and published papers in authoritative journals including Optics Express. His work targets photonic radar, optoelectronic signal processing and non-invasive bio-detection.
